  Local Vets

It is fair to say we use all our local vets listed below. Some we use more than others because of their proximity to our foster homes or because they have twenty four hour cover at a local surgery.

Over the years we have built up a good working relationship with them all. It is inappropriate for us to recommend which is right for you. Closeness to your home may be an issue if you do not have access to a vehicle. Twenty four hour local cover may be relevant. You may enjoy the range of services and expertise in a larger practice or the individual attention at a single handed practice. The choice is yours. We reiterate that all have served us well over our twenty one years.

Where a link is available this indicates the practice has sponsored this web site to some degree.

For housebound people or those who have no access to a vehicle some vets provide a home visiting service. This can also be valuable when a pet is very stressed by travel.Obviously not all procedures can be carried out in the home but several can

There is also a new service in 2007 offering a range of treatments at home (see below)
