We have had some lovely letters and e-mails of late from people who have adopted cats from us over the last year.
Here are some of them ;
April 2009 At a publicity event in Shipley
'My two timid cats have blossomed since we adopted them. We are so glad we gave them a second chance.'

Christmas 2008
From a lady of 93 who adopted a cat from us many years ago
“Emma is getting to be an old lady like me but she is still lovely to my eyes. She puts some purpose into life and I love her”.
That is a very touching tribute to how cats can bring joy into life. Older people should be persuaded of the psychological and life-enhancing benefits of having a cat around the house.
On a practical note the Branch will pay essential vets bills when an elderly person adopts an elderly cat but would hope that there is some neighbour or relative to help out in an emergency.
